Green Smoothie Love

“Ewh what is that green liquid?”….

I have been asked many times, and my answer remains the same:

Gorilla Juice Power!

{of course with a wide eye smile :)!}

We all know that greens are nutritious and beneficial to the body. Do you include a variety of them in your diet? Green smoothies are a great way to incorporate more greens in your diet. I love that there are unlimited recipes and seasonal preferences.

Ingredients to consider for green smoothies:

Greens: kale, spinach, romaine, collards, swiss chard, parsley, basil, arugula, lettuce

Fruit: banana, berries, mango, pineapple, pear, apple, date, figs, grapes, citrus, stone fruits, avocado, durian, any frozen fruit

Mix Ins: Protein powder, nut/ seeds ( and or milk), honey, green powders, supplements, coconut water, coconut, cacao powder or nibs

Possibilities are endless 🙂

I will leave you with a recent favorite recipe to try.

1 Bunch of Dino Kale

2-3 Cups of Clean Water/ Coconut Water

2 Frozen Bananas

1 Cup Frozen strawberry and Mango

1/3 Cup of Hemp Seeds

3 pitted Dates

1 T Blue Green Alagee

1 T Fruits of the Earth

1 T Cacao Nibs

Place all ingredients in a high speed blender (Vitamix) and blend until smooth.
