July Pose of the Month ~ Supta Baddha Konasana ~ Reclined Bound Angle Pose

Ahh, lie back on your mat

Bend your knees up and drop you knees open with the souls of the feet touching

If your hips are uncomfortable, place blocks or a rolled up blanket underneath your knees for support

Let you hips relax

Bring your arm overhead bending at the elbows with palm on top of palm

Let the earth hold you and support you

Allow your whole front body to be open

Embrace the letting go and the releasing  into

Breathe deep

Stay as long as you like

When you are ready to come out of the pose, gently squeeze your knees in towards your chest and roll over to the right and find yourself in an upright seated position
